Last month the North Shore Systems team traveled down to San Diego to attend the Mortgage Bankers Association‘s 2026 Commercial/Multifamily Finance Convention and Expo. The MBA CREF conference is one of the the largest events of the year for commercial real estate finance professionals and technology providers. As exhibitors, our team had the opportunity to connect with lenders, investors, current customers, and more while showcasing the capabilities of our commercial real estate lending platform, The CREF Operating System™.
For more than two decades, North Shore Systems has participated in this conference, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the Mortgage Bankers Association and the broader CRE community. Events like this provide the perfect environment for industry leaders to exchange ideas, discuss market trends/developments, and explore the CRE finance technology that’s shaping the future of the industry.
Engaging with the CRE Community
The Hub (CREF’s exhibit hall), was filled with productive conversations. Our team met with both long-time industry contacts and new connections exploring potential commercial real estate software solutions for their companies. Face-to-face discussions provide valuable insight into the issues lenders are navigating today.
At our booth, attendees learned more about how The CREF Operating System™ supports the entire loan lifecycle. Our end-to-end platform encompasses origination, underwriting, asset management, servicing, and portfolio management, assisting organizations in streamlining their entire loan lifecycle.
Many attendees were particularly interested in how AI is being implemented into The CREF Operating System™. More specifically, how our AI capabilities can help teams reduce manual processes while gaining faster access to critical loan and portfolio information.
